This is a digital download of my painting of a favorite magical place, created to hang above the archway to my library. It captures the beginning of great adventure and the first taste of the wonders of Narnia.

I have considered painting this familiar place in an unfamiliar way for years, and I finally did it. I knew that it needed the beeches and oaks and white birches (my favorite trees) of the Narnian woodland, not just the familiar evergreens.
