Hi! We're Glad You're Here!
Hi Friends!
Thank you to so many of you for engaging with us about Issue 1 of our Maker's Hollow Newsletter, my ongoing book project, and the many happy things going on here among us at Maker's Hollow!
This is just a follow-up note to share what to expect as we go along.
As most of you saw, we had a couple of image and photo challenges with our first Newsletter issue. 😊 Those were corrected and the Newsletter was re-sent in full and good form—but it did mean that some of you got 2 or 3 things from us last week—instead of 1. My apologies for that, but I promise you we will not clutter your inbox with lots of extra stuff, now that those wrinkles have been smoothed.
If you haven't seen the first issue, you should find it in your inbox from last Tuesday, July 7th, around 5:40pm—or check your junk mail, just in case! 🙂
Our plan, whenever possible, is to send out this Newsletter twice a month—usually on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, with occasional smaller updates or announcements in between.
These issues will usually offer a lead article on what we hope will be nourishing topics; updates on my The Wonder of Is book project for young teens and families; a highlight podcast episode or two from our No Mere Mortals podcast; and introductions to our artwork, creative businesses, and upcoming activities—as well as news, recommendations, and general encouraging thoughts and ideas from our happy little village of family and friends.
Sometimes it will be less and sometimes more, but what we want more than anything is to stay connected (sometimes re-connect) with you—believing that such fellowship, even from a distance, is of immense value in all of our lives.
Please share the Newsletter with anyone you think might enjoy becoming introduced to our resources and activities here, and encourage them to sign up to follow along!
Your messages and prayers and engagement with all of this mean the world to us, and we eagerly hope this helps keep us connected with so many wonderful people who have been a part of our lives through the years.
We want to be a help and encouragement to you, as we share together in a growing community of families, creative folks, and all who treasure or are curious about the grace of the Lord and all the ways that we can engage His truth and goodness and beauty in our homes, the church, and the world.
Explore the menu buttons above to get to know us better!
Thank you all!
